UM's Phillips to Play? Miami's second leading tackler, Randy Phillips, is looking more likely to play Saturday after practicing with the team on Wednesday. Phillips, who injured his forearm, left late in the first half against Virginia Tech. Miami coach Randy Shannon said of Phillips: "[This game] means more to him because of situations he was put in a couple of years ago [when] they got a couple of passes on him."
No Tweeting Policy: Bob Stoops said this week at his weekly press conference, he asked his players after practice on Monday if any of them owned a Twitter account. "None raised their hand," Stoops said. Although, that didn't stop Stoops from addressing the issue of tweeting or discussing private team information with others. Unlike, Texas Tech or the NFL, where players tweet too-much info the Sooners have had their problems with leaks the old-fashion way. Stoops said, if anyone wants to discuss team information with others or tweet during halftime they could do it elsewhere.
