Speculation Bradford may return for Miami game: Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said there's no update on whether quarterback Sam Bradford might return for the Miami game but on the weekly Big 12 teleconference his response indicated Bradford might be available next week. Stoops was asked whether he's confident Landry Jones could lead the Sooners to a road win at Miami. "If it is Landry he's handling it really well," Stoops said. "He's been nothing but consistent and solid. More than anything it's the players around him the past couple of weeks have played better. Regardless of who's in that position the players around him have to support that position. "You have to protect him. You have to be able to run the ball. You have to be able to get open and catch it when you have your opportunities. As far as his part, he's doing a good job." (
