Stoops to Vote in Coaches Poll Again
University of Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops to vote in coaches poll: After sitting out last year in somewhat of a protest vote over all the politicking of coaches, Stoops returns to the voting panel in the USA Today coaches poll. "You don't need to make a point twice," he said. When someone suggested that his absence from last year's poll could have hurt Oklahoma's chances in such a razor-thin difference between OU and Texas, Stoops said, "It didn't help."
