Restraining Order Case Dismissed Against Recruit

Oklahoma Sooner Football Articles and Notes

Restraining order charge dropped against Chaisson: Former Bishop Gorman football star Justin Chaisson did not appear in front of Judge Eric Goodman Thursday morning in Clark County District Court for a protective order hearing. But the presence of Chaisson's lawyer, Michael Cristalli, was all the University of Oklahoma football recruit needed to avoid a misdemeanor charge of violating a restraining order against his ex-girlfriend. When no representative for the plaintiff showed in the courtroom, Judge Goodman dismissed the case. "It's dissolved, that's it," Cristalli said while exiting the courtroom. (Las Vegas Sun)

Thanks for a great website. Just a heads up. If anyone is interested in Boise State Athletics and possible problems to the squeaky clean image you should check out the Boise State University Newspaper website - arbiteronline.com. The newspaper is publishing a series of articles on a lawsuit filed by an former assistant track coach, Amy Christoffersen. She is filing a discrimination lawsuit against Athletic Director Gene Bleymaier and Head Track Coach Mike Maynard. The newpaper is posting Mr. Christoffersen's claims and some of the illicit activity going on in the athletic department. The first article was published on April 6, the second on April 16, the third article will be published on Thursday April 23. The articles are informative, but the comments are priceless. I don't think it will be long before this buzz jumps from the school newspaper to something bigger...probably not the Idaho Statesmen...if you know what I mean. I just thought you might want to jump on the bandwagon.
