Jarrett Brown verbally commits to OU: OU got a verbal commitment for 2009 from defensive end Jarrett Brown on Sunday, a 6-foot-4, 242-pound senior from Bowie HS in Arlington, Texas. Rivals.com reported later Sunday that linebacker Brandon Mahoney of Fossil Ridge HS in Keller, Texas, has decommitted from OU and verbally committed to Texas Tech. (Tulsa World)
