Thompson verbally commits to Oklahoma: ESPNU 150 Watch List lineman Tyrus Thompson has committed to sign a Class of 2010 scholarship offer with the Sooners, affiliate Web site OUInsider.com reports. Thompson previously told OUInsider.com that he would announce soon for either Oklahoma or Baylor. "They both have great academic programs and they both have great coaching staffs. It basically came down to who can get to the championship game and I want a shot at that ring so I just picked Oklahoma," Thompson said. (ESPN.com)
