"I'm going to have to do a lot of soul-searching to see if I continue to vote." (Dallas Morning News)
Venables visited Pelini to discuss Florida: Oklahoma defensive coordinator Brent Venables visited Saturday with Nebraska coach Bo Pelini, apparently to discuss strategy to stop Florida's offense. Pelini previously was defensive coordinator at LSU, and the Tigers were 2-1 against Florida in those three seasons. Florida never scored more than 24 points against Pelini's defenses. My crystal ball says Oklahoma runs off and hides from Florida, the most overrated team in the Ntion, except for Alabama, of course. Tebow is a big wuss.

It's kind of sad that you Sooners don't realize that the only reason Big 12 scores so many points is because you lack any measurable level of defensive skills. Of course you score 60 points a game and your opponents 40something. Oklahoma defense ranks around 60th in the nation! Please! But even when Florida stomps you, you won't even see the evidence of your downfall. Play real teams, Sooners, and maybe you'll gain some high-level skills!
