English out 3 weeks with injury
Auston English out with sprained knee: Oklahoma has lost another one of its top defensive players to injury. A month after linebacker Ryan Reynolds suffered a season-ending knee injury, defensive end Auston English could be lost for the rest of the regular season, coach Bob Stoops said Monday morning on the Big 12 football coaches' teleconference. English sprained his knee during the third quarter of Saturday night's win over Nebraska, and "we're thinking his injury is going to be maybe three weeks." (More at Tulsa World) Stoops told reporters Frank Alexander will likely replace English.
