Oklahoma receives verbal commitment from QB Drew Allen: Drew Allen, a three-star prospect from San Antonio's Alamo Heights High School, committed to the Sooners Sunday.Allen is the first quarterback in the Sooners' 2009 class, giving OU a third scholarship quarterback for 2009 to go with Sam Bradford and Landry Jones.A 6-foot-5, 209-pound prospect, Allen passed for 2,589 yards and 28 touchdowns a year ago, adding 254 yards and five touchdowns rushing.Allen chose OU over Oklahoma State, Colorado, Kansas State, Mississippi, Vanderbilt, Purdue and Wake Forest.
