Freshman Britt Mitchell joins the Marine Corps.: A freshman offensive lineman has quit the Oklahoma Sooners football team to join the U.S. Marine Corps. Britt Mitchell left the team and enlisted last week, sports information director Kenny Mossman confirmed on Tuesday.
