Tyler Evans to verbally commit to Oklahoma: [Tyler] Evans, the 6-foot-6, 300-pound Strafford High School junior, plans on committing to the University of Oklahoma on Saturday, he told the News-Leader. After attending a three-day camp in Norman, Okla. this past weekend, he said Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops offered him a full scholarship. Evans told Stoops he wanted to talk it over with his family and will commit when he receives the paperwork on Saturday. "It's a totally different experience. I'm going to get to do something most kids from (this area) will never get to do," Evans said. (News-Leader)
