Julio Jones to announce decision on ESPNU: All eyes will be on Foley, Ala., today, to see if Alabama can cap off a celebrated football recruiting season with a national signing day commitment from the consensus top player in the state.Foley High School wide receiver Julio Jones, rated a Top 5 national prospect by the various recruiting services, will make his final college choice at 12:30 p.m. (ET) today in a news conference to be broadcast live on ESPNU.The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Jones has been mostly silent on his destination, but has publicly narrowed his choices to Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma and Texas Tech.Tom Luginbill, national director of recruiting for ESPN Scouts Inc., said late last week that the race for Jones has been all but narrowed to two programs."It's down to Oklahoma and Alabama, in my opinion," Luginbill said on ESPNews. "He's got to make a choice -- does he stay in state... or does he go to Oklahoma, where I think it's more of a ready-made offense right now? It's going to come down to those two.
