DeMarcus Granger pre-trial hearing set for March 3rd: A warrant out for Oklahoma sophomore defensive tackle DeMarcus Granger was quashed Friday by a Tempe Municipal Court judge after Granger's attorney filed the motion by fax, according to acting deputy Jeanette Wiesenhofer of the Tempe (Ariz.) Municipal Court criminal division. A pre-trial hearing has been scheduled for March 3 when Granger or his attorney, Jess Lorona of Phoenix, will meet with a Tempe prosecutor or plea to the court. A warrant in the amount of $1,000 was issued for Granger last week after he failed to appear for his scheduled arraignment in Tempe. (The Oklahoman)
