Williams has surgery; expected out six weeks: Oklahoma free safety Darien Williams had surgery on his left foot Monday, but is expected to return in time for the beginning of the regular season. The 5-foot-10, 197-pound Williams could be sidelined as long as six weeks following the surgery to fix a stress fracture, Oklahoma athletic department spokesman Kenny Mossman said.
