Stoops doesn't expect to makes decision on QB till August: Bob Stoops said a decision between Sam Bradford, Joey Halzle and Keith Nichol won't be made until one of the three has clearly seized the job. One thing working in the coaches' favor is a recent history of intense competitions. "I would guess it would be sometime in August," Stoops said after Saturday's Red-White scrimmage. "When I feel a guy has earned it, we'll say so. I think if you go through eight years here, we have named 'em all at different times. "I mean it when I say (when) a guy has earned it, we'll say so. This isn't new territory for us. We've had four Big 12 championships with four different quarterbacks. So we're used to this. Hopefully we'll get back to another one with a different quarterback."
