What to look for in tonight's scrimmage: Stoops approaches tonight's scrimmage with a familiar checklist: "Good, clean play. Being physical. Guys knowing what they're doing. Avoiding mistakes. And playing smart." Offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson has his own set of priorities: "If we make some mistakes or we bust some blocks, fine and dandy. We don't want any (bad) snaps. We don't want any fumbles. We don't want to question our effort at the line of scrimmage. "We can't win if we don't play hard. We want to come out of the first week making sure we understand how to play hard." (Tulsa World)
More on Hardison dismissal: Walk-on Jermaine Hardison, a 6-3, 209-pound wide receiver from Midwest City has been dismissed from the squad for violating team rules. "Just to be inducted with these guys with all the greats, it says it all. It's such an honor, I think it just speaks for itself." (College Football Hall of Fame)
