Sooners land Vegas back Murray: DeMarco Murray is going to be a Sooner. All indications are that the standout high school running back from Las Vegas will play for Oklahoma. Murray is expected to announce his college decision today during the Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio. OU and USC were his finalists. According to insiders, the Trojans wanted Murray to play defensive back. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder wants to play running back, the position at which the Sooners recruited him. Murray would be the third running back in the Sooners' current recruiting class, joining Mossis Madu from Norman and Chris Brown from Alexandria, La., but he is the most highly touted. (NewsOK.com)
