All was relatively quiet on the coaching search front Monday, although Bill Snyder reiterated his stance that someone with K-State ties probably has an advantage. The list of candidates who fit that description is long. Possibilities include South Florida's Jim Leavitt, TCU's Gary Patterson, K-State graduate assistant and former Wyoming and Houston coach Dana Dimel and assistants Brent Venables (Oklahoma), Chuck Long (Oklahoma), Del Miller (K-State) and Bobby Elliott (K-State).
