Oklahoma Football Notes and Articles
Sooner's undergoing surgeries: OU coach Bob Stoops said senior receiver Travis Wilson underwent successful surgery on Sunday to repair a broken bone in his foot. Recovery should take three weeks, Stoops said. "They're hoping he'll be ready for whatever bowl game we're in," Stoops said. "Hopefully, we'll be able to get him back." Meanwhile, freshman center Jon Cooper, who suffered a broken bone just above his right ankle against Texas Tech, is scheduled to undergo surgery next week. Doctors want to wait until swelling subsides. Cooper’s recovery is expected to take several months, but he should be ready for spring practice. (NewsOK.com)
