Always a Backup at Center: Bush's break came against Nebraska on Oct. 29. Chester, who returned to practice after missing a month with a torn MCL in his right knee, suffered his during a practice in preparation for the Texas A&M game. OU offensive coordinator Chuck Long said Sunday that OU always has a capable "emergency center" available. Offensive line coach Kevin Wilson said that freshman guard J.D. Quinn would get some practice as the "second center" and Kelvin Chaisson and Davin Joseph could also play there if needed.
