Jones approached coaches on returning punts: Seeing a need, OU senior tailback Kejuan Jones approached coaches with the idea he could return punts. “I just wanted to go back there and give it a shot,” Jones said. “Actually, last year I worked on kickoff returns and punts a little bit, but I didn’t follow through with it. This year, we’re kind of real low (depth-wise) back there, so I just wanted to do what I can do to make this team better.” (NewsOK.com)
Small percentage: ABC will televise the A&M-OU game to about 16 percent of the nation. The rest of the nation will see Northwestern at Ohio State or Arizona State at UCLA. (Aggie Sports)
