(10/20) Peterson Update, Cummings Surgery and Oklahoma Articles
Oklahoma Football Notes and Articles
Peterson Update: OU coach Bob Stoops said a decision on tailback Adrian Peterson's status for Baylor probably will not be made until Friday, and perhaps not until Saturday. Stoops said Peterson, who is nursing a sprained right ankle, went through limited participation in practice Wednesday. "We backed him off by the end (of practice)," Stoops said. "Friday, we'll probably have a better feel. It's a day-by-day deal. It is getting better. How much better it will be by Saturday, we'll see." (NewsOK.com)
Cummings Surgery: Freshman tight end Aaron Cummings underwent surgery Wednesday to repair a broken ankle, according to Stoops. Cummings, who was redshirting this season, injured the ankle during practice last week. "It went well," said Stoops of the surgery. "He'll be fine." (NewsOK.com)
