(8/15) Monday Practice shifts indoors and Sooner Articles
Oklahoma Sooner's Notes and Articles
Monday Morning practice shifts indoors: With rain in the Norman area, Oklahoma moved its Monday morning practice to the Everest Indoor Training Center east of Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Despite the weather, the workout began at 8:45 a.m. and ran on a similar schedule to the majority of training camp practices. OU head coach Bob Stoops commented about the team's ability to go inside and carry out the exact same practice plan. "It works out better in here. It is safer than going outside and slipping and sliding around," said Stoops. "It is handy on days when it rains or there is lightning because we don't have to change our workout at all."
