Chiefs Take a Pass on White: After evaluating the former Oklahoma quarterback in three practices over the weekend, the Chiefs coach suggested White first try a lower level. "Personally, I would recommend to him if it's really something he wants to do, to go and take a run at the arena league and get more work in at playing football" Vermeil said Sunday, shortly after finishing a rookie mini-camp. "Maybe go to Canada (Canadian Football League), come back and try again and have a go." In a private meeting a few moments later, Vermeil told White the Chiefs wouldn't sign him to a free-agent contract. (NewsOK)
