Oklahoma Looking at top Defensive lineman: One of the hot spots on the spring tour for college football recruiters has been Richland Northeast High School. Coach Jay Frye said coaches from Oklahoma, Georgia, Georgia Tech, West Virginia, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, N.C. State and Michigan have watched his team. USC and Clemson coaches are expected this week, Frye said. And Oklahoma coaches are expected to return for another look. The Sooners are looking at Cavalier defensive lineman Adam Patterson, (6-foot-3, 260 pounds) whom Frye said the Sooners consider to be the top defensive line prospect on their board and one of the nation’s top prospects. Patterson has picked up recent offers from LSU, Wake Forest and West Virginia. (TheState)
