Trey Dicarlo Leaves Oklahoma: Oklahoma place-kicker Trey DiCarlo has left the OU football team. The senior-to-be said the reason is not because he lost his job to true freshman Garrett Hartley last season, but that he's tired of football. "'It's just like there was a personality conflict between me and football," Dicarlo said. "Even if I'd had a good year, I'm not sure if I would have returned. (ChannelOklahoma) Georgia's End Coach Joins Sooners:For the third time this offseason, the Georgia Bulldogs are trying to replace an assistant coach. Defensive ends coach Jon Fabris is leaving to accept a position at the University of Oklahoma. The move comes after two assistant coaches, defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder and running backs coach Ken Rucker left the team in January. Defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator Rodney Garner also reportedly had a brief flirtation with LSU before deciding to stay with Georgia. He was promoted to assistant head coach last week.
Former Bulldog end Charles Grant was a first round NFL draft pick after playing for Fabris. All-American David Pollack is projected to become a first-round pick in April. (WNEG)
