Q. Will Oklahoma's 2005 football season be erased or not
counted?
A. Oklahoma's 2005 season results will stand with the
exception of wins, including the Holiday Bowl. The Sooners'
2005 season will historical be recorded as 0-4.
Q. Oklahoma has forfeited the 2005 wins over the other
teams. Now will the other teams disregard or erase the
Oklahoma game from their records?
A. No. In other teams historic records (media guides,
websites) the results will stand, including game score and
LOST GAME. However, it will be noted no game winner.
Q. How does this affect the individuals records of the
players and coaches?
A. Unfortunately all the records, including player and
coaches will be amended and removed. Bob Stoops' record will
be amended from 86-19 to 78-19.
Q. Will the University of Oklahoma have to pay back their
Holiday Bowl winnings?
A. No. The NCAA does not regulate bowl games nor payouts.
