Oil Capital Racing Series Sprints Return to Oulaw Motor Speedway

OKTAHA, Okla. -- The Oil Capital Racing Series Sprints (OCRS) return to action here Friday night July 25th, sponsored by A&B Distributors of Muskogee. We will be having $1 Bud Night all night long with Budweiser giveaways.

All classes will be racing for points, including Outlaw Modified, Hobby Stock, Pure Stock and Super Modified.

On their last visit, Jamie Passmore of Rose took the win after career wins leader, Tulsa's Mike Goodman left with engine problems on lap 18.

Notes for the race night - Career wins leader Bixby's Greg Skaggs (19 career wins) has won 8 of the last 10 Outlaw Modified races, putting pressure on Modified points leader, Chelsea's Joe Duvall who is just 60 points ahead with three races left until the "Race for the Championship".

Tahlequah's Jason Ward is cruising in Pure Stock and has a 262 point lead over Muskogee's Darien Austin.

Spiro's Brookin Stephens and Inola's Justin Shoemaker are in a battle for Hobby Stock supremacy as they are separated by just nine points. Defending 2007 points champion Muskogee's Dale Richardson is closing despite missing three weeks of racing.

Big D, Dennis Slader in of Muskogee and Glenpool's Jake "the Snake"Kelley are separated by just eight points in Super Modified.

Activities begin at 7:00pm, All Gates open at 5:30pm.

Grandstand Ticket prices: Grandstand Admission - Adult - $10, Kids 6-12 $5, 5-under is Free, $25 Family Pack (2 adults, 2 kids), $30 Family Pack (2 adults, 4 kids), . Note: All children must be accompanied by an adult to enter the races. Due to the volume of interest of this race night, purchasing advance tickets is strongly recommended.

Pit Admission - Adult $30, Kids $20. ($3 from each adult pit pass will go into the points fund) Note: All children must be accompanied by an adult to enter the pits and must be accompanied by and adult at all time or they will be asked to leave.

DR. DANGER - Dr. Danger is coming to Outlaw Motor Speedway Friday August 8th on Kids / Back to School Night. Be sure to bring school supplies for us to distribute to local schools on Kids Night.

ADVANCE RACE NIGHT TICKETS - Due to many request, Friday night race tickets to Outlaw Motor Speedway will now be available to purchase weekly. Fence Me In, located at Curt's Mall in Muskogee will be the main ticket outlet for weekly races. Adult tickets will be the only ticket available for $10 per ticket.
