OKTAHA – AZALEA MODIFIED SHOOTOUT $2,000 to WIN MAY 5th
- It took mother nature to force the postponement of the
Azalea Modified Shootout $2,000 to win (April 13-14) but
nothing will stop the top Modified drivers in the region
this time around. Without another major Modified show
within 200 miles, a list of who's who in the Modified
division are expected to show up this weekend for the
one night show.
Many regional and national favorites have already
committed to the Azalea Shootout. Drivers such as -
Johnny Bone Jr, Pea Ridge, Ark., Steve Holzkamper,
Gentry, Ark., Randy Timms, Oklahoma City, Greg Skaggs,
Bixby, Ok., Chad Wheeler, Muskogee, Ok., Jason Hughes,
Westville, Ok.. Terry Beckham II, Webb City, Mo., and
others to watch for are Tommy Weeder Jr., Woodward, Ok.,
John Allen, Chanute, Ks., Brandon Morton, Coweta, Ok.,
Steve Lacy, Bixby, Ok., Eddie Martin, Stilwell, Ok.,
Scott Drake, Webb City, Mo., and Bill Dillard, Fort
Smith, Ark..
Local favorites for the Azalea Shootout includes - Tate

Notable - Beckham II is the Outlaw Motor Speedway career
Modified wins leader with 12, as Cole and Wheeler are
second with 10 each. Dobson has nine, Skaggs has
collected seven wins in the last year as Timms and
Holzkamper have four and three respectively at the five
year old 3/8th mile.
The race night is sponsored by the Castle of Muskogee.
Grandstand gates open at 6:00 pm, racing begins at 8:00
pm. Pit gate opens at 5:30pm, hotlaps begin at 7:15pm
and driver sign-in cut off is at 7:20pm.
Grandstand Admission: Adult $10, Kids 6-12 $5, 5-under
FREE! Family Pack $25.
Pit Admission: Saturday Adults $25, Kids $20. (For
insurance reasons, we strongly discourage any children
under 14 in the pits, If you must bring children in the
pits please keep them with you at all times.)
The payscale will remain the same, as will the entry fee
per car. Passing points will be used for this race. For
