Sample Tracks of the Notorious B.I.G. Duets: The Final Chapter to be released

By GNEXTINC.com contributing report

GNEXTINC.com -  Nov. 2005

Beginning Wednesday Nov.  2, 2005, Canadian hip-hop & Bad Boy fans can log on to www.warnerurban.com to get their first taste of the album The Notorious B.I.G. Duets: The Final Chapter.

Each week for the next six weeks, a different track will be released on the website leading up to the record's release on Tuesday December 20, 2005. The album is the second posthumous release from The Notorious B.I.G., generally acknowledged as the finest East Coast rapper in history.

www.warnerurban.com was established to give Canadian fans a place to go to find the latest news and new release information for some of their favorite R&B artists such as Missy Elliott, Twista, Trina, Craig David, Fat Joe and the Bad Boy Records roster.

Duets: The Final Chapter is the perfect marriage of B.I.G.'s distinctive rhymes and delivery with some of today's greatest MC's and vocalists. All of the tracks are brand new from the best producers in the music industry. The album features duets with the likes of Eminem, Diddy, Twista, Bones Thugs N Harmony, Missy Elliott and Korn among others.

Others appearing on the disc include R. Kelly, Bob Marley, Mary J. Blige, T.I. , the Diplomats, the Game, Akon, and Redman. Mary J Blige told MTV: "Puff called, he said he needed me for this Biggie album. I went to the studio and he played the track. Biggie and Pac was on it, I didn't hear Nas. “I was listening to the lyrics and I came up with my lyrics based on what they were saying. Mario Winans helped me write it."

  • Hold Ya Head - Featuring Bob Marley
