Outlaw Motor Speedway Chamber of Commerce Night - Super Sprints Return

MUSKOGEE, Okla. -- OUTLAW MOTOR SPEEDWAY, 8 Miles South of Muskogee, Oklahoma & 11 Miles North of I-40 on HWY 69 - This Saturday night, May 27th is Muskogee Area Chamber of Commerce night as the Super Sprints return to action after a four week absence. Grand Marshall Sue Harris of the Muskogee Chamber of Commerce will take on Outlaw Motor Speedway and kick off the 2006 Memorial Weekend.

Muskogee Chamber of Commerce members can get into the races for half price with their coupon they received in the mail or purchase discounted advance general admission tickets at the Chamber of Commerce office for a discounted price of $8.

After a four week disappearing act, the Super Sprint division resumes action as Tulsa's Mike Goodman (195 points) looks to add to his points lead over Collinsville's Kevin Battles (169) and Sand Springs' Sherman Davis (168).

The last time the Super Sprints took on the 3/8th mile track is was Goodman that stole the Super Sprint Feature win April 22nd. The previous week the National Sprint Tour came to down as Dover, Missouri's Danny Lasoski's took home his first NST win of his career. The Super Sprints have been put on a bi-weekly schedule to build the class and not interfeere with the local touring series.

All divisions will be competing Saturday night featuring Hobby Stock, Pure Stock, Economy Modified and Modified as points races are heating up with the weather. Muskogee's Dale Richardson (598 points) leads the Hobby Stock points standings with defending points leader Tim Sands (554) and Rand Moses II (524) close behind.

Glenpool's Jake "the Snake" Kelley sits atop the Economy Modified points standings with a 603-to-521 lead over Muskogee's David Whittle and Shannon Reheard (496) as the Snake looks to run away with the points lead.

In Pure Stock, Muskogee veteran Bob Lewis retook the points lead three weeks ago and still holds a 561-to-532 over Justin Sellars and Heavner's Eric Dehart (498).

In the Modified division, the points battle is heating up with Muskogee's Kreg "the Kid" Dobson just one point behind three time defending points leader Gary Andrews 751-to-750 points. Mike "Fuzzy" Withrow and Tate Cole are both within striking distance with 666 and 652 points respectively. Dobson has taken home three wins this 2006 season as Andrews and Cole both have two each. Withrow has just one career win at the Outlaw and has been banished from victory lane since 2003. However he has finished second in points the last two seasons behind Andrews.
