Muskogee's
Economy
Modified
driver and
pastor of
Christ Church
David Howell's
prayers were
answered with
a win Sunday
night at
Outlaw Motor
Speedway, with
his first ever
career
A-Feature win.
The win moves
Howell into
8th in the
points chase
and proves
that hard work
pays off.
Glenpool's
Jake "the
Snake" Kelley
finished
second but
still sit atop
the points
standings with
a 392-to-350
lead over
Muskogee's
David Whittle.
Locust Grove's
Jeremy Ross
and Muskogee's
Dennis Slader
making their
first
appearance
this season to
the Outlaw
finished third
and fourth
respectively.
Tate Cole of
Muskogee
claimed his
first win of
the season
last week in
the Modified
division and
moved into
fourth in the
points
standings. But
Muskogee's
Gary Andrews
still owns the
top spot,
although the
lead got
slimmer as
Kreg "the kid"
Dobson closed
to 563-to-553
and Mike
"Fuzzy"
Withrow inched
closer with
512 points.
Dobson and
Withrow
claimed second
and third
respectively
Sunday night
as Andrews
took sixth
place.
Dale
Richardson
extended his
slim points
lead over
defending
champ Tim
Sands Sunday
night
388-to-362
after
finishing
third behind
Doug Ford and
Lynn Combs.
Ford recorded
his first
career Hobby
Stock win at
the 3/8th mile
oval as Combs
hauled in his
best finish of
the young
season in
second. Sands
finished an
uncharacteristically
10th after
being involved
in a mid-race
altercation.
Terry Cook
moved up on
the career
wins list for
the Pure Stock
Division into
a tie for
seventh with
three wins
after is
Sunday night
victory. Cook
who took a
pair of wins
in 2005 made
his first
visit to the
track this
season. He had
to hold off
Terry Newton
and Brad
Wallis for the
win.
Bob Lewis of
Muskogee still
hold the Pure
Stock points
lead despite
finishing
sixth last
week and is
chased by
Justin Sellars
and Eric
Deheart of
Heavener.

of the races
will be pushed
back to 7:00
PM until
further
notice. Gates
will open at
5:00PM.

FOUNDATION for
a silent
auction on May
20th with NFL
Linebacker
Kenyatta
Wright. The
celebrity race
will feature
NFL Players in
a charity race
at the Outlaw
with Kenyatta.
The auction
will feature
NFL and NASCAR
memorabilia to
raise money
for the
foundation.
NOTES:
We are still
working on
getting all
the names of
NFL players
that will be
participating
in the event
May 20th,
however a
scheduling
conflict has
many of the
players in
team
mini-camps
that weekend.
The
appearances
will possibly
be rescheduled
for a race in
June if not
all the
players can
attuned.
Kenyatta
Wright will be
at Outlaw
Motor Speedway
Saturday May
20th.
