Diddy suit threw out: A Manhattan
Supreme Court threw out a suit filed by former Bad Boy
Entertainment President Kirk Burrowes against CEO Sean
"Diddy" Combs.
Burrowes claimed Combs, the music/fashion
mogul, attacked him in an attempt to get him to give up
his stake in Bad Boy Entertainment.
A Combs' attorney called the suit "a complete
fabrication." A New York appeals-court agreed. The
judges found that the allegations, dating to 1996, are
too old for the case to go forward.
To the Gridiron: The "Diddy" will be
among several hip-hop stars including, Snoop Dog, Nelly,
Trick Daddy and others at Dolphin stadium Saturday. The
stars will coach youth-football teams, part of the
inaugural Battle of the Stars Youth Football Classic.
