Crown Royal Championship Racing
today announced that the official name of the spring
NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race at Richmond International
Raceway will be awarded to an adult fan that wins the
Crown Royal “Your Name Here 400” contest. The landmark
promotion will mark the first time the name of a major
professional sporting event will be awarded to a
consumer. Until a winner is crowned, the working title
for the race will be “Crown Royal presents The Your Name
Here 400.” During next year’s DAYTONA 500®, the grand
prize winner will be randomly chosen from a pool of 10
finalists, at which point the name of the race will be
replaced with the name of the consumer (i.e. Crown Royal
presents The Jamie McMurray 400). The 10 finalists will
be selected based on having the best submissions
chronicling their favorite “CROWN-WORTHY™” moments. A
“CROWN-WORTHY” moment is defined as a memorable moment
or occasion deemed “worthy” of toasting with a Crown
Royal cocktail in a responsible manner (i.e.,
celebrating an anniversary, big promotion at work,
etc.). To enter, fans 21 and over can submit written
essays (50 words or less) via crownroyal.com/ynh400,
sharing memories of a favorite “CROWN-WORTHY” moment
which called for a special celebration. Crown Royal will
also be collecting video submissions at retail and
NASCAR racetracks across the country, including at the
Crown Royal Brand Experience tent. No purchase is
required. Entries must be received or recorded by
November 23, 2006 and will be judged equally on the
basis of originality, relevance, appeal and clarity. For

Notes
Robby Gordon sporting different scheme: Crown
Royal marks the fourth time the No. 7 will carry the
Menards' colors and the second time that Energizer will
be taking prime real estate on the hood.
Most races at Richmond: Michael Waltrip marks
his 41st start at Richmond International Raceway. That
places him tied for third among full-time active drivers
with starts at the .750-mile track. Kyle Petty leads all
full-time active drivers with 48 starts.
Stewart hot: Tony Stewart since winning his
first race in his rookie year, at Richmond in September
of 1999, Stewart has won 24 more victories in Cup
competition.
Ahead of heavy hitters: No. 96 DLP HDTV
24th-place standing in owner points puts the Hall of
Family Chevy ahead of the No. 16 (Greg Biffle), the No.
12 (Ryan Newman), the No. 19 (Jeremy Mayfield), as well
as two cars from Chip Ganassi Racing.
Richmond Good to Harvick: With #29 Goodwrench
currently leading, Harvick has two top-five and four
top-10 finishes in 10 Cup starts at Richmond
International Raceway.
No surprise: Earnhardt, Jr. currently running
second tonight is no surprise, as Richmond has been one
of his more successful tracks, including two Cup
victories (one of four tracks where he has multiple Cup
wins). In 13 Cup starts, he has six top-fives, eight
top-10s, and an average finish of 10.07. His first Cup
career top-10 finish took place at Richmond in Sept.
1999, and his second career victory in May, 2000.
Harvick leading most laps: Kevin Harvick has
lead the most laps 5 times including tonight, but has
only won one of those races.
