Martin Truex Jr. and No. 1 TomTom® Team
New Hampshire History: Martin Truex Jr. will be making his seventh NASCAR Sprint Cup series start at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday. At the 1.058-mile oval Truex has an average starting position of ninth and an average finish of tenth. His best finish at NHMS came in June 2007 when Truex drove the No. 1 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet to a third-place finish.
Last Weekend: After starting on row three at Infineon Raceway, Truex and his No. 1 Chevrolet team struggled with an ill-handling racecar through much of the race. Despite falling back as far as 35th, Truex was able to make a late charge into the top five before an untimely caution on lap 76 forced the team to make a pit stop. Truex eventually drove the car to a 25th-place finish.
In the Points: Following a 25th-place finish at Sonoma Truex and the No. 1 Chevy Team remains in the 22nd position in driver points.
TomTom® on the Car: After riding to victory lane last weekend at Iowa with Target Chip Ganassi Racing’s Dario Franchitti, TomTom will again appear on the No. 1 Chevrolet of Martin Truex Jr. This is the second time this season TomTom has appeared on Truex’s car. He first piloted the green TomTom Chevrolet at Pocono Raceway earlier this month. In addition to serving as the primary sponsor of Truex this weekend at New Hampshire, TomTom has also partnered with Target Chip Ganassi Racing and Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates as an associate sponsor for both the IndyCar Series and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) during the 2009 racing season.

Juan Pablo Montoya and No. 42 Target Team
New Hampshire History: Montoya will make his fifth NASCAR Sprint Cup start at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday. He averages a 22nd-place starting and finishing position at the 1.058-mile track. Montoya’s best start came during his rookie year when he qualified fifth and his best finish came last fall when he crossed the finish line in 17th place.
Last Weekend: Juan Pablo Montoya battled from the 17th starting spot in last weekend’s first road course race of the season at Infineon Raceway to finish sixth in the No. 42 Target Chevy. Montoya quickly worked his way through the field to earn his seventh top-10 finish of the 2009 season and moved up two positions to 12th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup standings, the cutoff for the “Chase”.
In the Points: The seventh top-10 finish of the season for the Target team moved Montoya up two positions to 12th in the 2009 NSCS Championship driver point standings. The team is 447 points behind leader Tony Stewart.
Home Track: Mike Bodick, mechanic and gas man for the 42 team, hails from Norwalk, Conn. Bodick is a former football player and graduate of West Point Military Academy. He has been involved with racing for the past 19 years and is a 12 year veteran of the Earnhardt Ganassi Racing team.

No. 1 TomTom® Chevrolet (NSCS): Chassis #078 Crew Chief Kevin “Bono” Manion has elected to bring Chassis number #078 to New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend. Martin Truex Jr. has raced the chassis three times this season. His best finish with chassis #078 came at Phoenix International Raceway in April. Truex finished seventh.
No. 42 Target Chevrolet (NSCS): Chassis #818. The Target team will bring Chassis #818 to New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend. Montoya last drove this chassis to a 24th-place finish at Phoenix International Raceway in April.
