Carl Edwards on racing at Pocono Raceway:
“Our last race at Pocono was our best run of the season. I have all the confidence going back that we will have a great race there. We have had a lot of success there and hopefully we will be a force there this time. We are taking the same car we finished second with there in June. Our team always runs well there and it’s one of the fun tracks. I’m looking forward to going there, and our team has been getting stronger, so we all expect good results."
Crew chief Bob Osborne on racing at Pocono Raceway:
“Pocono is the most unique race track we go to on the circuit. It is a challenging race track, but I enjoy racing there. With three different corners and a very long straightaway, there is a fine line between being good and being good enough to win. It takes a series of compromises to the setup to run fast there. The 99 team pulled off the win in August there last year, and I’d like nothing more than to go back and win it again this time around. We were second in June, but hopefully this time we won’t be in a position where we have to save fuel.”
