April 11, 2005 – From fashion to making the
band to acting on the stage and screen, rap mogul
Sean "P. Diddy" Combs seems to be always making
news.
Back in court again, after an appeal back in
August, a New York court ordered Combs to
pay the mother of his older son $35,000 a month in
child support. Misa Hylton-Brim had been receiving
about $5,500 a month but she wanted to get as much
as Kim Porter, the mother of Comb's younger son
Christian. But Combs appealed the ruling, and
he won Thursday.
Although he makes millions from hit music, New
York court's appellate division ruled Combs
doesn't have to pay the $35,000, and instead needs
only pay $21,782 a month. However, he will have to
pay for medical, dental, security and summer camp
among other things.
