VH1's new competitive reality series "I Want To Work For Diddy" tracks 13 hungry applicants as they compete to land the job of a lifetime. This isn't some boring job interview. They'll be challenged emotionally, physically and mentally to earn the privilege of doing Diddy's bidding, and just one lucky person will get the chance to call him "My Boss." NEW YORK August 4, 2008 – Sean “Diddy” Combs, the acclaimed music mogul, record producer, multi-platinum Grammy award winning artist, actor and fashion designer can now add successful television producer to his long list of accolades. This August, the entertainment powerhouse will have three shows he executive produced airing on MTV and VH1 Networks. The highly anticipated “I Want To Work For Diddy” chronicles the challenges of thirteen contestants as they compete to become his personal assistant, the hugely successful “Making The Band 4″ back for a third season which stars Sean Combs and his hand-picked group of musical artists as they vie to become the biggest musical stars of tomorrow and of course, “Run’s House” now in it’s fifth season, winner of the NAACP Award for Outstanding Reality Series.
Following on the heels of the critically acclaimed television adaptation of “A Raisin In The Sun” on ABC which featured Sean Combs in his first starring role along with an all star cast of performers, including Phylicia Rashad, Audra McDonald, Sanaa Lathan. Combs also served as executive producer along with legendary film and Broadway producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.
“Raisin” received three Emmy nominations including Outstanding Made for Television Movie and was the highest rated TV movie among women for the season, garnering 12 million viewers.
