Diddy Collaborates with SYNDROME on New Ciroc Vodka TV Spot
1-11-2008-- Hip hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs and the Syndrome directing team of James Larese, Micah Hancock and Mars Sandoval, have collaborated on the kick-off TV commercial for Cîroc Vodka since its acquisition by 'Diddy,' who also stars in the spot. Syndrome worked in tandem with Robot Films, the production company for the commercial, which was shot in Miami. The spot just broke on various cable TV networks. The announcement was made by Monica Blackburn, Executive Producer, Syndrome.
Regarding the new spot, Sean 'Diddy' Combs said, "Syndrome captured and conveyed the simple elegance of Cîroc Vodka. This new spot looks and feels upscale-- like the viewer has been invited into a private party with a lot of class and a lot of style. The rich color scheme, the subdued lighting and the artistic camera direction all add up, making this spot a winner."
Blackburn added, "This new spot is a super luxurious, richly colored and textured commercial featuring our signature Syndrome atmosphere and sharpness. Set to Kanye Wes's song 'Flashing Lights,' the spot invites the viewer into a special VIP party celebration hosted by Diddy himself, whose voice over says, 'Cîroc the Ultimate Premium Vodka."
In addition to its noted, live action directing team, Syndrome is also a design and production studio specializing in motion graphics for broadcast, commercials and music videos. Robin Frank and Hillary Pitcher of Robin Frank Management, New York, repped Syndrome for this Cîroc Vodka project.
