and Bad Boy Records top the SoundScan/Billboard 200 album chart for the
second consecutive week as Day26's
self-titled debut album explodes into the #1 spot in its first
week in release. The #1 chart entry follows last week's top-charting
debut for Danity Kane's smash second Bad Boy album, "WELCOME TO THE
DOLLHOUSE." "DAY26" also debuts at #1 on Billboard's "Top
R&B/Hip-Hop Albums" chart and #3 on SoundScan's "Digital Albums"
chart.

Season 3 coming this summer: MTV has picked up another season
of Diddy helping to make bands. The new season of Making The Band
will chronicle the journey of rising stars Day26 and Donnie Klang and
platinum artist Danity Kane as they travel across the country on a
promotional tour in support of their respective albums. The
10-episode Making The Band 4, Season 3 is expected to air

the Band 4 group name.. DAY26: At long last, Diddy
has unveiled the name of "Making The Band 4's" series-winning quintet.
The group -- currently starring in the latest and greatest season of
MTV's hit reality series -- will officially be known as DAY26. The
moniker is derived from the band's official formation last August 26th,
when the five gifted performers were chosen by Diddy and MTV viewers
around the world on the blockbuster "Making The Band 4" season finale.
DAY26 -- which includes Brian Andrews, Mike McCluney, Qwanell Mosley
(aka "Q"), Robert Curry, and Willie Taylor -- is currently starring in
"Making The Band 4," Season 2 alongside previous MTB sensations Danity

a ratings hit! The second-half premiere of MTV’s Making
The Band 4 marked the series highest-rated debut among the
network’s target demographic. The Jan. 29 telecast notched a 2.2 rating
against persons 12 to 34, according to Nielsen Media Research data, the
best since the Sean Combs-franchise bowed in June 2003. The first half
of the series’ fourth season debut last summer. The show, which
averaged 2.2 total million viewers, also scored big among female teens
(a 3.86 rating), women 18 to 34 (3.34) and men 18 to 24 (2.15) Network
executives said the installment was the most-watched show in primetime

TV Kicks off Season 2
of Making the Band 4 January 28 at 10 ET/PT: Bad Boy Records
has announced the upcoming release of three new albums from the stars
of the hit MTV reality series, "Making The Band." The news comes as the
highly rated series kicks off its latest season, beginning tonight,
January 28th at 10pm ET/PT (check local listings). "Making The Band 4,"
Season 2 will feature previous MTB sensations Danity Kane, along with
last year's as-yet-unnamed quintet and additional MTB4 finalist Donnie
Klang. The upcoming season will see all three acts living together as
they work to complete new albums, which will then be released in the
weeks to follow. The releases kick off on March 11th, with the arrival
