According to published reports, R&B singer Sean Kingston has been selected to play the role of Notorious B.I.G. in an upcoming biopic. Kingston said; "When I first heard about that movie, it was through management. My management told me about it and you know I had auditioned for it and I met with the director and I nailed it and he gave me a shot now at being in the movie."

The script is based on Cheo Hodari Cocker's book Unbelievable: The Life, Death & Afterlife of the Notorious B.I.G. The movie project has been in the works for six years. As producers of the film hope to begin production this fall.

A Raisin in the Sun update: As posted and speculated in July. ABC has recently announced, Diddy's 'A Raisin in the Sun' will air as an "ABC Premiere Event" and will debut the evening following the Academy Awards. The three-hour television movie features Combs' as executive producer and as the movie's main character Walter Lee, Jr. Also, serving as executive producers are Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. The film also stars Phylicia Rashad, Audra McDonald, Sanaa Lathan and John Stamos.
The broadway play turned television movie will air Monday, February 25, 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM on ABC.
Not Here Diddy:NY Newsday reports Sean "Diddy" Combs, and his annual White Party will have a little less bang. The annual party which is held in East Hampton, where its required all guest are dressed in their best white wardrobe. While East Hampton permitted Combs to host the party, there'll be no fireworks for Diddy.
From Newsday.. "We denied the fireworks but he still can have his party," Bill McGintee said, who added that there were also concerns over another fireworks display being held that same evening at a nearby beach in East Hampton.
In the latest Forbes Magazine edition, they take a look at the highest earning hip-hop moguls. The publication calculated the entertainers 2006 earnings, and income. Jay-Z pulled in an estimated $34 million, followed by 50-cent with $32 mil. and Sean "Puffy" Combs at an estimated $28 million. Although Forbes reports, Combs' representatives insist the figure is higher.
Forbes with E! will feature a one-hour special about the list, which will air tomorrow, at 6 p.m. ET on E!.
One thing is for sure, these mogul are sitting on a stack of cash.. They all represent the American Dream, though. ;)
The website BuddyTV.com reports, Asia Nitollano, the winner of the CW reality show Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll. Asia who opted not to join the Pussycat Dolls, will apparently grace store fronts promoting Sean John's Womens collection.
BuddyTV writes.. Diddy said regarding the choice of Asia and the other two, "I wanted the campaign to be like Diddy's angels. I think that Asia, Lauren and Cassie represent the Sean John girl in a perfect way."
The women's collection line will launch first at Sean John's Manhatten store, then Macy's, Dr. Jay's and Dillards retail stores.

In an recent interview with OK! Magazine, Kim Porter, the former girlfriend of hip-hop mogul Diddy. Recently, discussed her 10-year relationship with the entertainer that recently ended. BallerStatus and Daily News offers excerpts from the interview.Porter explains she felt Combs and herself were not on the same page.
"I'd been in an on-again, off-again relationship with Mr. Combs for about 10 years, and it came to a point where it was time for me to move on with my life," Porter told the magazine. "I had invested a lot of time in that relationship, and it wasn't going where it should have been going. So it was time to [end it]. In a relationship, it's important that the people are on the same page at the same time. And we weren't on the same page."
She certainly doesn't believe any man is 100% faithful.
"I will never sit here and say that Puffy -- or any man -- is 100 percent faithful," she explained.
Porter told the magazine both her and Combs are just friends, Sienna Miller wasn't the cause of the split.. And, she went on to say, Puffy's relationship with Jennifer Lopez was an embrassment.
"They're just friends," Porter tells the mag. "That wasn't the cause [of the split]." On J-LO and Puffy... "I never thought it was real. It was an embarrassment."

Page Six is reporting Sean "Diddy" Combs the mogul, and fashion designer on his recent St. Tropez trip was refused a tablet. The paper reported from an unnamed source -- Combs was at the hotspot Les Caves, were the entertainer was denied a table.
The source said, "He is so B-List here. No one even acknowledges him."
However, Diddy has been spotted hanging with model Penelope Cruz and U2's Bono, according to the paper. And, still has social status staying the at villa of Louis Roederer Champagne's CEO, Jean-Claude Rouzaud while hanging with French supermodel Noemie Lenoir.
Stewart Pulls Diddy Prank: According to the UK Mirror, at an recent Diddy yacht party in St. Tropez -- someone pulled a prank on Diddy. That someone was Rod Stewart's daugther, Kimberly Stewart. The rap star noticed his favorite ride, Maybach limo worth a cool $700,000 was missing. Only to later find out, Stewart, took it for a spin. Diddy reportedly stopped partying and started panicking, according to the paper.
One partygoer told the Mirror: "Diddy did not see the funny side at first. He had no idea it was a practical joke. He thought it was stolen. He had his flunkies on a wild goose chase looking all over the place for his car - it's his baby."
The Mirror spy said: "Diddy and his minders were stressing out until someone piped up that they had seen Kimberly running off giggling with the keys and a friend in tow."
