Star Jones noticed that Combs didn't sponsor a child at first at Russell Simmons’ Art for Life Fundraiser' while celebrity attendees Alicia Keys, Usher, Vivica A. Fox and others readily handed over thousand-dollar checks for the cause. Finally, Combs out-sponsored everyone by sponsoring five children. "Puffy was happy to contribute $5,000 to a great evening. Of course he'll send his check," said his rep. Last year, Diddy gave $30,000 to Simmons' Art for Life, which supports children’s arts education.
